Ok, so what Giants uniforms were your favorites? The least favorite? Here are all the Giants uniforms from 1958-2009.

I think the Giants need a totally new uniform. At the very least bring back the Black or Orange tops for Friday games.:dance::^^

My favorite all-time Giants uniform is their road uniform from '83 - '93. I just love that "SF" on the left chest and the double-stripe line down the middle of the shirt and the grey color. Looks classy and "old time" all at once.

Will Clark's Topps rookie card had him wearing one of them, posted below.

And even though -- in retrospect -- they were god-awful ugly, I still have a warm place in my heart for those bright orange and black uniforms from the 70's. (Still love the orange-brim hats!) I grew up watching the Giants wearing those uniforms... and since most of the other teams were ALSO wearing glow-in-the-dark uniforms that looked like they were colored with highlight pens, the Giants' uniforms didn't look out of place by comparison! :D

I've read this from a couple of sources (columnists) but haven't found anything "official" to back it up, until now:

The Giants this season -- on Friday evening home games, only -- will be wearing "retro" orange jerseys similar to the ones they wore in the 70's/80's. And on Sunday home games they will be wearing the old orange brimmed hats !!!

I included images of the "new retro" orange jerseys here, which you can see are bright orange but have the current "GIANTS" logo on the shirts instead of the old script-writing like they had in the 70's.

They may not be the epitome of fashion, but I think it's pretty frickin' cool. I love the nod to the old uniforms. And I hope I'll be able to see at least one of those games on TV or the internet this season. :D
