So now that the Dodgers appear to be faltering in the NL West race (losers now of 7 straight) where does Manny end up next season? I don't see the Dodgers resigning him. Do you?

Maybe the 'Backs and Dodgers should flip a coin for the NL West crown. Neither can seem to get out of their own way!

Even if he Dodgers were to win the World Series Manny will be gone anyway. I think he returns to the AL in '09.

Manny went to high school in New York City at George Washington High School so a return to NY would be like going home for him.

Manny has had so many moments in career it's hilarious. This was on his wikipedia page.

Ramirez missed the White House reception for the Red Sox 2007 World Series championship. President (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_the_United_States) George W. Bush (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_W._Bush) quipped: "I'm sorry [Ortiz'] running mate, Manny Ramirez, isn't here. I guess his grandmother died again. Just kidding. Tell Manny I didn't mean it."
