Sandy Koufax vs the Giants

Ok, so how nasty was Koufax vs the Giants? I know he threw a no-hitter against the Giants in 1963. Koufax is one pitcher I would have loved to seen in person. Everyone that I've talked to who saw him pitch said in his prime he was basically unhittable and that he had incredible "stuff".

These people who told you that were right on. In his prime he was down right nasty. Had control but was just wild enough so you never felt safe in the box. In his prime he well may have been the best.:eek:

That guy scared the hell out of me. I always felt he'd throw a n o hitter every time he pitched against the Giants. He did once -- I think it was 8-0. Bastard.

Yeah that guy had some nasty stuff. It didn't last long really after that mysterious thing happened to his finger. He was tough though. Very tough.
