I agree with you but who wants these guys? Vizquel will make a great coach someday maybe for the Giants. Durham & Winn are the only two who you could get anything back for. Zito and Misch you would have to pay someone to take.:shakehead:

Yeah I'd love to trade or otherwise just get rid of that junk. But Bear is right. Who is gonna trade for any of them? Who want's them? Especially Zito with thhat contract. Sadly probably nobody. We're probably stuck with all of 'em .

Durham may have some trade value for a contending team. He's having a decent year hitting .294/.377/.406. I think several teams may have use for a second baseman hitting .294 with a .377 OBP. If he can get over .300 and push the OBP to say .385-.390 I think teams will be calling Brain Sabean.

Yeah, I think we'll see Winn and Durham both go at the deadline. I don't think the Giants are ready to trade Vizquel. They have proven they don't have a major league shortstop behind him yet.

They could probably get something from a contender for Yabu at the deadline. People like to shore up their pen down the stretch.

As long as they get a good young prospect I am for this. Yabu has been good for us but does not fit into the future, so why not?;)
